CHRISTMAS

Christmas is almost here! These days we have learned some vocabulary about Christmas: Christmas tree, Santa Claus, star, Christmas ball, presents... 

We have made a mini Christmas book with the vocabulary!!

LEARN TOGETHER

The children have reinforced the new vocabulary about transports like bus, train, car... and animals like cow, sheep, pig, bee.... playing different games in a cooperative way. It's a different way to learn to write in English.

Thanksgiving Day 2019

Thanksgiving Day is an annual national holiday in the United States and Canada celebrating the harvest and other blessings of the past year.
Thanksgiving is a great time to be thankful and appreciate who you have and what you have. It is a time for families to meet, socialize and enjoy each other's company, sometimes the only opportunity in a year.

To celebrate this, each group from 3rd to 6th has written something for which they are grateful.

Yesterday 5th grade they made a Halloween mask! Before we talked about the Halloween customs, the origin of the celebration and we worked together to learn vocabulary like ghost, spider web, witch broom, bat, skeleton ...

GAMES TO LEARN ENGLISH

On Thursdays afternoon the fourth students play games to learn english.
They review the colors, numbers, animals, subjects...
And today they start to learn how write questions with Animal Mystery game!

STORYTELLING TIME

Captain Jack, Katie and Danny are back with new adventures! This time they met a dragon!! We love storytelling time and we have reviewed some vocabulary about body parts!!

Places in the city

Fifth children enjoyed playing in groups to classify and relate the different places in the city according to name and image. 

One of the groups got it before the end of the set time of 5 minutes to complete it!

Poem about Autumn

Initial cycle children have learned a poem about autumn, "Autumn leaves are falling down." In a few weeks they have remembered the entire poem, here is a small sample.

Last week in the group of sixth we talked about climate change. Then they met who Greta Thunberg is, what she does and what is the real climate problem through the speech she gave to the UN.


For this reason, last Friday, September 27, we decided to make some posters to manifest their disagreement and fight against the existing climate emergence.
